Puerto Pollensa

Markets in Puerto Pollensa

The markets are used as meeting places by the locals and are a good place to purchase local produce and souvenirs. The markets normally operate between 9am and 1pm.

The market in Puerto Pollensa is held every Wednesday and each Sunday in Pollença old town. The Sunday market is frequently a social outing with the local cafes and restaurants buzzing with activity.

You will find a good selection of local Serrano hams, cheeses, wines and olive oil. The fruit and vegetables are locally grown and not uniform in shape and size but fantastic in flavour. There are other stalls selling clothes, handbags, sunglasses, plants and flowers as well as souvenirs.
